Femmoto began in 2001 as a women only track day, but has quickly evolved into much more. Today Femmoto is an organization that looks to fill the void for women motorcycle riders who are looking not only to improve their riding skills with on-track instruction, but who need information, contacts, and specialty services/products.
With our new venture, FemmotoGear.com, our goal is to become the best place for women to shop for gear. As this evolves you will find very detailed photos and descriptions of the gear offered (especially the technical gear). These pages will be filled with pictures of various riders with different body types actually wearing the very gear we sell. Included will also be a product review written by the very rider who has worn it.
FemmotoGear.com will make it easy to find gear that fits and performs. We want to hear from you so we can be informed as to your specific needs.
We want Femmoto be a platform for getting these special wants and needs to the ears of the manufacturers so their products can be more effective, appealing, and useful to us, the women riders. National magazines also need to begin offering more for the woman rider. Femmoto wants to provide input from various sources to help influence this change.
In summary, Femmoto is a grass roots effort to help all women motorcycle riders to get the most enjoyment out of their riding. At this stage we are still in our infancy. With input and interest from our members there will be only improvement and growth in the future.
Femmoto is making a promise to help the fight against breast cancer by becoming and advocate for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation "Race For The Cure". A portion of Club Femmoto membership fees will go towards this cause along with a donation from the proceeds of Femmoto 2006.
